Qualities of fleur de sel

Qualities of fleur de sel

1.- Fleur de sel has a maximum of 90% sodium chloride (NaCl), while common sea salt contains 99.9%

2.- Due to its formation process, it has a lower molecular density than the brine from which it originates; its molecule is different from that of common salt.

3.- The brine obtained from wells 15 meters deep, filtered through geological layers enriched with minerals from the Colima volcano, provides us with fleur de sel containing the same minerals found in blood, such as magnesium, iron, potassium, calcium, among other trace elements necessary for our body.

4.- Due to its mineral content, it has a mild flavor; it not only salts but also seasons. Due to its high degree of solubility, it quickly imbues food with a pleasant taste. When tasted, it is associated with a soft sea breeze; it tastes like the sea.

5.- Good fleur de sel is only harvested in four countries: France, Spain, Portugal, and Mexico, in Colima. SolySal de Colima's fleur de sel contains 807.66 mg/100g
