This Privacy Policy explains how Colonial Natural Products (“Colonial Natural Products,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit or use colonialnaturalproducts.com, purchase products, communicate with us, subscribe to marketing, or otherwise interact with our services.
Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes personal information to provide the ecommerce platform, checkout, payments, security, analytics, and related services. Shopify’s own privacy notices may also apply to its processing.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Contact information, such as name, billing and shipping address, email address, and telephone number.
Order and transaction information, including products purchased, order history, payment status, returns, refunds, and fulfillment information.
Payment information processed by Shopify Payments or other payment providers. We generally do not receive full payment-card numbers.
Account information, if customer accounts are enabled.
Device and network information, such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, and approximate location.
Usage information, including pages viewed, links clicked, search terms, cart activity, referring pages, and interactions with the store.
Communications, including customer-service messages, product questions, reviews, survey responses, and other information you provide.
Marketing preferences, consent records, and interactions with emails, advertisements, or campaigns.
Fraud-prevention and security information.
Information from service providers and partners, such as Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, analytics providers, advertising partners, and social-media platforms, subject to their policies and your settings.
How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
Process payments, orders, deliveries, cancellations, returns, refunds, and customer-service requests.
Provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the store and products.
Verify transactions, prevent fraud, protect accounts, and maintain security.

Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies for essential store functions, preferences, analytics, security, advertising, and measurement.
You can manage certain choices through the cookie banner or privacy settings made available on the store, browser controls, device settings, and applicable opt-out mechanisms. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the store or checkout from working correctly.
Where required, we seek consent before using non-essential cookies. We also honor legally required browser-based universal opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where applicable and technically supported.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to:
Shopify and its affiliated service providers.
Payment processors and financial institutions.
Shipping carriers, fulfillment providers, customs brokers, and delivery partners.
Technology, hosting, cybersecurity, fraud-prevention, analytics, customer-support, email, advertising, and marketing providers.
Professional advisers, such as accountants, insurers, auditors, and legal counsel.
Government authorities, courts, regulators, or law enforcement where required or permitted by law.
Parties to a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
Other parties at your direction or with your consent.
We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own unrelated purposes except as described in this policy, with consent, or as required by law.
Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
Some privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly to include disclosure of identifiers and internet activity to advertising or analytics partners, even when no money changes hands. Depending on the technologies enabled on the store, certain disclosures may be treated as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law.
Where required, customers may opt out through a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or privacy-choices link, cookie settings, or a recognized universal opt-out signal. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of persons under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including order fulfillment, customer service, legal compliance, tax and accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and enforcement of agreements. Retention periods vary by information type and legal obligation. We securely delete, anonymize, or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to backup and legal-retention requirements.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Customers are responsible for protecting account credentials and notifying us of suspected unauthorized activity.
International Data Transfers
Our business and service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries. These countries may have privacy laws different from those where you live. Where legally required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to learn about categories and sources of information and recipients; to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; to withdraw consent; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and to appeal a denied request.
To submit a request, email support@colonialnaturalproducts.com or colonialnaturalproducts@gmail.com and state “Privacy Request” in the subject line. Describe the right you wish to exercise and provide information reasonably necessary to verify your identity. We may request additional verification and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law. Authorized agents may submit requests where legally allowed, subject to verification of authority and identity.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
California Privacy Notice
If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to our processing, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about personal information; to opt out of sale or sharing; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and to receive equal service and pricing.
In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories described in “Personal Information We Collect,” from customers, devices, Shopify, service providers, and business partners, and used or disclosed them for the purposes described above. We do not knowingly use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide requested goods and services, unless separately disclosed.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Where European data-protection law applies, we process personal data on one or more legal bases, including performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights, and consent. You may have rights to access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent, and may complain to a local supervisory authority.
Children’s Privacy
The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Purchases should be made by adults or with appropriate adult involvement.
Third-Party Links
The store may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy, security, content, or practices. Review the privacy notice of each third party you use.
Marketing Communications
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. Even after opting out of marketing, you may still receive transactional or service communications about orders, accounts, security, or policy changes.
